  Directions

Symmetrical Energy Arts is located at...

...Centre Ave in Topton, PA. Our studio is indicated by the push pin on the map above. Clicking on the map will direct you to Expedia.com to see a more detailed map.

Directions:

  • From Reading - Option 1 - Follow route 222 North towards Allentown. After passing Sam's Club and Wal-Mart continue for another approximate mile to the Topton/Fleetwood Road. Bear right on to the Topton/Fleetwood road and continue on that road through Fleetwood and into the town of Topton. At the first traffic light in Topton (there is a Hess gas station to your right), turn left on to Home Ave. Follow this road until you cross the railroad tracks and then turn right on to Centre Ave. (After you cross the railroad tracks you have to either turn left or right). Our studio is located on the left about 3 houses down from where you turned. Signs are in the window. Option 2 - Follow rte 222 all the way to the Kutztown by-pass. Continue on 222 around Kutztown. The first light that you will come to after the by-pass is at Long Lane. Turn right on to Long Lane. Follow Long Lane until you come to the stop sign. At the stop sign bear on to Topton road and follow that into Topton and across the railroad tracks. After you cross the tracks turn left on to Franklin, then left again on to Home Ave. After you cross back over the tracks turn right on to Centre Ave. Our studio is on the left side about three houses after you make the turn.

  • From Allentown - There are 2 options from Allentown. For both options, follow route 222 South. The first option is to take Topton Road. This road is AFTER you pass through Manatawny. It will be to your left. Turn on to Topton Road and follow that until you get to Long Lane Road. (Topton Road merges with Long Lane Road at the stop sign). Bear to your left towards Topton. Stay on this road until you enter Topton and cross over the railroad tracks. After you cross the tracks, turn left on to Franklin and then left again on to Home Ave. You will then cross back over the railroad tracks and turn right on to Centre Ave. Our studio is located on the left about 3 houses down from where you turned. Signs are in the windows. The second option is to continue on Rte 222 until you reach the Arby's located at the intersection of Long Lane. Turn left on to Long Lane and then follow the directions stated in the first option.

  • From Bethlehem, Easton or any places off route 78 - Get off of 78 at the Trexlertown exit (Rte. 100 South) and follow signs towards Reading. This will put you on to Shantz Road and then eventually route 222 South. At this point, follow the directions "From Allentown" above.

  • Parking - There is some on-street parking across the street from the studio and some off street parking behind the studio.

Thoughts and Ideas:

"Good posture can be successfully acquired only when the entire mechanism of the body is under perfect control"- Joseph Pilates

Pilates compares a body tuned by Contrology, with an automobile engine that has properly assembled parts and runs smoothly with a minimum of gasoline and oil. Only when all of the components of the human body are working harmoniously will proper posture be successfully and easily obtained. Pilates believed that if the body was balanced and coordinated through Contrology, the results would be efficiency of movement and posture. This would also allow the individual to conserve energy and be prepared for any emergency that may arise during the course of daily activities.
