Welcome to Intelligent Exercise!

Symmetrical Energy Arts is a Pilates and General Movement Studio featuring Intelligent Exercise that includes Pilates and Wetzig Coordination Patterns. In our studio we offer a unique perspective on Pilates. We recognize that while there are definite aesthetic benefits of Pilates and movement, we believe it is also very important to focus on mind-body awareness and how movement affects our every day activities. Our method of Pilates instruction and style appeals to all individuals of all ages and especially those who may suffer from body image issues. Our studio is designed to be relaxing, supportive and non-competitive. Wetzig Coordination Patterns

No doubt you’ve heard of Pilates. The name is everywhere; gyms, infomercials, videos and now accessories are even sold in grocery stores. However,  there is much more to this method of physical and mental conditioning (exercising) than any of the above really begin to touch on. To fully understand how you can benefit from Pilates, there are a few things you should know.

Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Wetzig of Coordination Patterns™ Training. has researched patterns of movement and learning potential for over 30 years and we are pleased to have her work in our studio. The influence of the Coordination Patterns™ and the continuing investigations of those patterns within an individual is a unique study. Understanding the Patterns can become an important and useful tool for everyone.
