  Pilates Schedule, Classes & Fees

Welcome to the SEA Pilates Class Schedule and Pricing pages.

The schedule is updated on a regular basis so it is advised to view the schedule often. The most current version of the schedule will always be the one you find here on the website.

On our Class Description page you will find information about each of the different types of classes on our schedule along with a general description of the type of activities that take place in an Individual Session. Because we all progress at varying rates, SEA has a class type for all levels of Pilates Mat from a very basic introduction session that includes an in-depth explanation and exploration of the fundamentals to the more challenging and intense Advanced level. One of our expert Instructors will help you to determine your current level. If you are interested in Individual sessions as part of your Pilates program, our senior Instructor will work with you to establish a program.

You must register for any class on the schedule, and you must also call ahead to arrange for either an Individual Session on the apparatus or an Individual Session on the mat!  Click on the link below to register online!

We have several levels of pricing and our Pricing and Policies page will outline these for you.

To visit other areas of our site, the links in the left column of this page will take you to the corresponding pages.

Thoughts and Ideas:

"Breathing is the first act of life, and the last...children must be taught how to take long deep breaths, sufficient to expand the upper chest to capacity. They must be properly instructed on how to draw the abdomen in and out at the same time holding their breath for a short time. Then they should also learn how to fully deflate the lungs in exhaling."  - Joseph Pilates

The most important fundamental in Pilates is breathing. Pilates placed great emphasis on filling the lungs to capacity with oxygen when inhaling, and completely compressing every atom of air from the lungs when exhaling. In each Pilates exercise there is a specific breathing pattern to help the body move in the most efficient manner with the most oxygen availability. Breathing alone is a wonderful technique used for relaxation, increasing concentration, and managing pain. It is essential to the practice of Pilates to understand the importance of correct breathing patterns, and to carry those techniques into everyday life. Breath is paradoxically often forgotten while physically exerting oneself, especially at the height of exertion, when it is needed most to safely and competently carry oneself through a complicated movement.
