Taiji (Tai Chi) has several aspects. It is a powerful
martial art designed for self defense, but it is even more powerful as a

Taiji form and/or doing the slow deliberate breathing/mind/body
exercises known as Qigong. It wasn't until recently, however, that the
medical community and scientists have able and willing to investigate
the claims objectively. Medical researchers have documented over 200
studies to the health benefits of Taiji and Qigong.
